Akçay
Akçay is placed in the middle of Edremit Körfezi ( gulf) which is a hidden paradise in north Aegean sea coast and opposite of Lesbos island. You may visit historical or natural places which are located around Edremit Gulf. Abundance of natural drinking water is one of most characteristic feature of Akçay. This natural water is springing up from core of water ground with artesian well system. During the day you may enjoy the clean sea and shining summer on beach. At nights you may enjoy the wonderful panorama of sea on in cafes which are on harbor which is quite animated in summer season or you may spend amusing nights in disco and bars which are going over to coast side. In the middle of the city you will see a lady statute named Sarıkız (blond girl) which is the symbol of Akçay. Sarıkız is a legend of that area which is very romantic.
